Foreign Worker Takaful Guarantee aims to refuce the burden of the employer in paying the security deposit for foreign workers, where they only pay the takaful contribution depending on their employers' country of origin.
The expenses (subject to approval granted by the Commissioner of Labour) shall include cost of repatriation and subsistence, accommodation and medical expenses
Payment of unpaid salaries in which the employer cannot afford in cases of dispute or as instructed by the Commissioner of Labour
Eligibility
Any registered companies which have an intention to employ foreign workers as workers in Brunei Darussalam
Period of Takaful
From seven (7) months to thirty (30) months based on the period granted by the Labour Department
